It’s a short hike up the hill which provides a complete view of Fredericksburg and the Hill Country. It’s on the way up to Enchanted Rock prior to exiting the city. Be sure to checkout Cross Mountain Park as well. My fastest time to the top was 7.5 minutes, haha. We’ve hiked at Enchanted Rock a few times and found it to be pretty incredible. Whenever possible, we like to ferment as close to the vineyards as possible. We source our grapes from specialty growers throughout Texas, Washington, California and Spain. We’re from San Antonio and continue to make the trip up north on a somewhat frequent basis because the area is so great. Our philosophy at Baron’s Creek is to bring you small lots of very fine wine from the best vineyards. Sometimes they do a grape stomp in a tub for those visiting the area.
